Purpan manages the Lamothe farm situated 20km from Toulouse : 250ha - 130 dairy cows which produce 1 000 000 litres of milk.

Most of the region's array of crops are cultivated here (wheat, corn, sunflower, soybean).

A free range laying-hens industrial unit has been established in 2005.
This farm has 4 important objectives:
- provide a professional anchorage through an understanding of agricultural realities
- get students to participate in managing a farm
- get them to undertake plant and animal experiments
- welcome professionals for technical study days
